This collectives’ history is already over 40 years, and it’s still alive

This collectives’ history is already over 40 years, and it’s still alive/ you’ll understand why when hear the sound of those voices, very tender and very strong at the same time.

With their strong voices they seem to grow a big and powerful tree. A lonely, filled with a hidden power tree that may give a shelter to many wanderers and birds, which need a protection and calm. The tree that talks to a wind, and talks to people.

And the name of the collective was picked not by accident - “Yavir” – strong, beautiful and high tree. It’s hard even to imagine while listening, that singers are not so young anymore, their voices sound so clear and warm!
Singing technique is perfect. No matter how they sing: with or without accompaniment, with fortepiano or with orchestra, their voices are always perfect. Time passes, but it has no influence on the singers.

“Yavir” smiles

It’s obvious that a good singer should have a strong and beautiful voice. But for the real artist, just a good voice is not enough. Artistic behavior, manners of implementation, good art taste in choosing repertoire, love and devotion to folks art are the necessary characteristics of a real artist. A man cannot be called an artist without those characteristics.

Really hard, you would say? Yes, it is! But real art needs hard work to be done! That’s why Volodymyr Didukh, Valentyn Reus, Yuriy Badun, Evgen Belskiy are known to public as vocal quartet, that carefully work on every note, every scenic move, thoroughly discuss and pick every detail of scenic costumes and characters. In the end, audience enjoys every word, every thought, every note of humor and a connection with an artist on stage. And audience salutes it’s favorites with loud applauses, thanks for the great vocal show, for the beauty they give to people, for the great humor and happiness they give people with their voices.

For the last few years “Yavir” quartet had many concerts in different parts of Ukraine and all over the world. And it has become very well-known in the world. But as in first days of their artistic activity they visit their admirers and take traditional Ukrainian songs and smiles with them.
